U - 40 Cork Sealer

Has anybody tried this stuff ? If so what do you think ? I am trying to make my
cork on some of my rods last as long as possible...

it definitely helps prolong the effects of aging and helps reduce wear and tear on the outer surface of the cork handles. I usually use it on my customers rods especially if they fish saltwater. i usually apply several coats of sealer to make sure it seeps in and penetrates the cork.
