I have about 100 RNDS but nothing I'd want to part with. Those 44s aren't cheap to shoot! What kind of revolver you get?

Revolver will come sooner or later. I came across this ruger and couldn't pass it up. What a sweet rifle ... I think. Have not shot it yet.

If you were closer and that was 12ga, I would trade you.

Vortec. I can do 100rds of 12 ga instead of 20ga if you are serious.

I can make that trade with ya, I will have to check and see what .44s I have but I can at least handload some rnds for you. Lemme ck tonight as to what I have exactly, 240 grn JSWC I believe, and I will get back to you. You"ll also need to come to me to make the switch......20 g works for me....

Didn't know they have Jswc. I would prefer jsp or jhp. 240+ gr is fine. Would also prefer factory over reloads unless they are on hotter side. Once fired brass?
Where are you anyway? I don't mind coming a little bit, but I am in Palm Springs.
Pm me
Thank you

I would consider a meetup at Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga, but farther than that for me just isn't worth it.
I have 280gr moly coated LSWC that were loaded specifically for the Ruger .44 Carbine (I have one).

Turners gets a load of ammo in on wed. at least the West Covina one does. I sent my wife there two weeks ago to get me some .223 ammo. You might want to check craiglist there a black market for ammo right now.

Tried Craig's but tired of getting flagged.
Bass pro is fine on a Saturday.
What velocity you getting on the 280s? Grouping? Any loading or fouling issues?
Thanks

Oh that sucks. Try the West Covina turners it opens at 10 and it will have about 25 guys waiting on wed. for them to open to get the new shipment of ammo.

Yup, thats what I have already loaded (not really "jacketed" just copper plated) but have 100 rnds of 240 gn SJHP. I was .44 cal shootin nut for some time and anybody knows "handloading" is the only way to keep the cost within reason. Although never competed with any of the .44s I put a lot of lead downrange from once, twice fired brass with never a ammo related stoppage, either the wheelguns or the lever actions always extracted nicely.
Looks like you might have some better leads, good luck.........I will try the West Covina Turners tomorrow since I do live here.............fly low, avoid the radar and cover your six!!!!!!!

Honestly I will trade with who ever as long as we can make a deal and set a time. Bass pro in ranch is far as I'd like to go.
Thanks

Let me see what I have in storage . I have 3 to 4 boxs in an ammo can I sold my Vaquero in 44 mag . six months ago . I like my 45's and 40 cal HK better 44 is pretty unpleasant from a handgun after 20 rounds or so unless you have some light loads . At least for me !

I had your deer slayer rifle for years and it's a great gun . Quick pointing and ruthless on short range Pigs in the brush .
Someone borrowed mine and moved to Montana with it such is life . I sure wish I had it now . It's the 10-22's bigger badder brother . You will love it. Coincidentally their are pigs in the badlands in Lamb Canyon you prolly know where that is you pass by the off ramp going to Bass Pro Shops . If makin bacon is your thing .

By the way guys Big 5 has had ammo come in at least at our stores
no .223 but some .22 LR and a lot of common calibers . Make friends with their gun guy he will tell you when their order will be in . Be their fast as greased lightning to get what little there is to grab!
