Just got this reel rebuilt at Shimano last month. Did a couple casts with it down at LMV just to make sure everything is sound, but other than that it hasnt been used.
Shimano ended up replacing a ton of the old parts with brand new ones as well as doing a full service on it.
pinion gear, drive gear, clutch, spool bearings, anti-reverse bearing, clutch springs, and new dartanium drag washers were replaced.
mechanically the reel feels and performs like a brand new one, an easy 10/10
aesthetically it has a lot of fine scratches and scuffs (as seen in photos), but no dings, and both the frame, handle, and spool are straight!
I am also including a set of Carbontex carbon fiber drag washers with the reel.
It's been spooled with Trilene Big Game 20#
