Walking the dogs yesterday afternoon I saw a guy catch several nice crappie on a white jig and bobber off the fishing pier. Maybe they are starting to spawn... Fish were fat.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like the fish are in spring mode. BTW, last fall a friend of mine did well with the crappie on a white Berkely Trout leech under a bobber. The Mount crappie may like white?

Yeah, white or yellow are both good colors there because of the murky water. The guy said he sometimes uses hot pink too. Guess I'll bring my ultralight rod next time I walk the dog(s) there.
