short report
Arrived at Santa fe dam at 4:30 pm, little wind and clouds. water clarity and water level is better than my last trip here on December. Hit the first spot but no love. Moved to my next spot, spotted some fish chasing shad close to shore and many carp jumping in the distance. only two followers on this spot but no hits. I was feeling discourge at this point. moving on, next spot bam got a hit. after a couple jumps i landed this little guy. FIRST BASS OF 2013!:Dancing Banana: . Pic and release so it can get bigger. few more casts but no more bites so i called it a day at 5:20pm so i can watch the laker game, which they win! anyway the bass are starting to bite! looks like a good year i hope lol. bass caught on reaction bait. please release the bass.
