Wondering about castability,,i use the ties,and they cast thru the guides really well dont see how you can cast

Yep, If the water or fish are too deep you need ties or the little rubber bobber stops. But for fishing from shore or casting toward shore the beads are usually fine with long rod and easy to see. I like fishing small rivers, especially spillways where fish are near the fast current waiting for food to come by. I steer the bullet bobber where I want and give it slack to see how deep it is. Using a bead below the bobber to set minimum depth is also important but can't be cast if the fish are too deep. All said, if the water isn't over 7' it always works great. I have fished from walls where I can just drop in a current and fished up to 12' deep because the beads are small enough to fit through the guides when you reel in but not castable.
