Went out for some wild trout today up in the Angeles national forest. A buddy and I went up to this creek to get some action after a long break of no fish for me. We found a nice stretch of the river with a fairly deep pool and started fishing with some flies. Maybe it was because it has started to warm up, but we had a pretty good day. We ended up catching about 5 each in the hour we were there. All in all it was a good trip. It sure beats getting skunked at some of these lakes around here. All fish were released unharmed

Nice job! Great to C and R. To live and fight another day...and helps keep skeeter population down for us humans. Beautiful fish.

Way to go! I know of a few similar spots and was just curious, dry flies or something with a bead head?
