Who wants a lake casitas report??

I think the fish are beginning to stage for the spawn. Rabitto and I went to casitas sat 2.23.13 evening. We got the lake around 3:45PM. We found a money spot and were able to pull out 3 bass. My brother lost another right near shore. I finally got my first bass of 2013. It looked like we caught the males who were beginning to stage. We didn’t see any fish swimming the shallows but the fish we caught were not that far from the shore. We mostly fished the dock area but we didn’t catch them around the docks.

I also think you need be very perceptive to the bite. When I caught my fish I felt a subtle *tap *tap and I set the hook. It wasn’t much of a *tap either.

You sure that was us. I only fished on sunday. it was the first time out at casitas this year.
