Most people think why on earth would someone troll such a small lake.
I can tell you its actually a great lake to troll.
Although it may be small there are few boats out let alone trolling so you basically got the lake to yourself.
I actually caught my biggest trout on the troll there. 15 1/2lb steelhead.

Theres only one reason i dont troll it as much. The boat ramp is basically in a hot zone for shore anglers.
Anglers tend to get all pissy when your launching.
Last time i had my truck and trailer actually vandalized.
Went to retrieve my boat and noticed my trailer wires were cut and my plug actually stolen.
Had to drive home with no trailer lights.

If they ever figured out how to solve the ramp problem im sure many boats would go there.

I've trolled there a couple of times this season with little luck. Maybe I just didn't have the right pattern of lure or some other variable, but the jig and bait bite is where I have had the most luck this season at SARL.

We have done well at SARL on the troll. Just have to find the right lure they want :)

Great lake to troll. You're usually out there by yourself and, especially this year, the fish are spread all across the lake.
