I can barely read the rules. How is the placing going to be? Is there going to be a 1-3 place.

I wish I could attend, but ...

Anyway, I'm anxious to see how this turns out. We'll see if the fish have recovered in that favorite old lake from my teen years.

I'm surprised nobody proof-read the poster, since it reads like a five-year old wrote it. Not very professional.

Legal limit is 25 so I don't see why you would stop at 10.

Top 10. Crappie are the biggest and heaviest of the fishes on the list. Whoever gets to the crappie will win.

It seems early in the year to me, too, unless you have access to the deep water maybe.

Well in the rules it say only 10 fish limit.
It also says in the rules you can only fish with one rod. What if you a second rod stamp.

It says you have to follow the law, and the law allows 25 fish, but like you say, the law also allows two rods. Is there a number you can call?

Cartman here is the number. 909/599-8411

The rules (#3) say a 10 fish limit . You can catch 25 but they are only going to weigh 10 (your biggest) .
They are limiting fisherman to one rod probably because not everyone has a two rod license . They are making it so no one has an advantage over basic license holders .

7:00 am sign in and weigh in at noon so basically 4 to 5 hour contest depending if you are bringing a boat .
That's not a long time to find those elusive Crappies unless you really know the lake . The warm weather if it holds may change everything , it's a welcomed surprise this time of year.
