Well technically I got it last spring, but she is still new. I got a new 150hp E-Tec. There is a dealer in Wisconsin that has these, like 9 grand brand new. My boat was already rigged for johnny rudes, and after some research, I decided to stick with Evinrude. I really wanted a 150 tohatsu, but they do not make one yet.
Anyways, the E-Tec runs like a top, you hardly hear it running and the fuel consumption is incredible. After I had it installed, I thought my fuel guage was broke. Seriously. Then I realized that the reason my needle on my fuel guage never moved much....... was cause of the new engine. And for anyone who trolls, I get this thing down to 1.2 mph no problem. I can troll all day long, no fumes, no build up. And for power, wow, nothing beats the 2 stroke power ! I know they make another E-Tec model that is for the bass boats too. Just take a look at them if you are looking to re-power. I am so glad I did.
