Hit up WR from 7:30am to 2:00pm with fellow angler Marty. He got there at 6 though, I needed my beauty sleep. Between the two of us we probably caught 60-70 fish today, mostly dinks but hey thats a lot of fish.

Walking to the spot...

I did manage to pull of a few around this size -

That one taped out just a hair short of 14".

We did a ton of moving around which allowed us to really get the most of the tide. The second spot I landed a nice walleye first cast.

ahh, life is good.

But...the real treat for me was catching my very first YFC from the surf, I've been itching to land one for a month now. It is tiny yes, but I sure did appreciate the catch.

Awesome job out there Connor. I fished that stretch about a week and a half ago at the low tide with flat conditions and it was dead. Much to be said when a little water and swell turn the conditions around. That lot is a good deal also with it being only 5 bucks to get in before 9 and it gives you access to a very fishy stretch of beach.
Congrats on your YFC and Wally too.
Keep up the good work out there!

Nice going Connor. Great day to be out there. Looks like you had some luck on the pigs with a little sprinkling of variety.

Thanks for the report and congrats!

connordoyle goes for the trilogy ..... and SCORES! :Beer Toast:

"Congratulations" on your success today....WTG! :Big Smile::Applause:
I remember a short while back in one of your reports that you mentioned that you were in pursuit of the elusive YFC back then.
Well .... you've developed patience Connor, and along with mixing "that" with your dedication and persistence .... it has brought you your targeted NEW species! WTG!
Great job also on the WEP  and the BSP!

Thanx for the fish report with pic's!
