Skunked!!

NO body home and I mean nada, zip, zilch. It was gloomy cold and dead for everyone.

But I know where I'm going to get my 20 pounder from.

Hi ya Lightline,

Sorry to hear that some one besides myself can also meet up with the dreaded skunk ....
at the end of what had appeared to look like the perfect fishing conditions at the beginning of the session!

As I kept looking at your surf conditions...photo after stellar photo....I was really expecting to see you holding a legal Hali or a PB in the very next photo!
As if you were baiting us along with each beautiful pic!

When ever I have the opportunity to experience such amazing AO's.....my soul always gets refilled "topped out"! And to beach a skunk buster...well... is just an added blessing!

Keep these fishing reports coming and best wishes to you during the 2013 season!

PS....it's better to get skunked than to never have tried! Bravo to you! :Applause:

Hey Mike,
It's still a little early for the 20 pounders at that spot, but that is definately a good spot for them...
Like someone osle mentioned, try out a few different set-ups and see if that works.
I have caught hali's, SBB, calico's and other fish there, not always with the LC...
Take care and look forward to hitting the surf with you this year,
Robert

Try going further back in towards the smoke stack.. there is a fence shoot to the right lots of fish and butts there
