Im going to be heading down to irvine lake sometime next week. I have a setup for catching rainbow trout, but what rig setup do i use for catching good sized catfish? I have 3 rods, 1 i wanna use for trout and the other ill set it up for catfish.

That's an easy question to answer. all's you need is one hook on your line, NO WEIGHT. (Fly line) If your using a spinning reel keep the bail open, it's alot of fun watching your line shoot off your reel when you get a bite.
