Nice job Slacker! About how long were the sculpin? BTW, my wife would kill me if I had fish blood all over the counter, especially at a joint like that.

Thanks CB. I spooled on the Pline CXX you recommended---that stuff is great and strong.

The sculpin were about 4 inches long. Yep, the wife wasn't too happy. I tried to keep it all on the cutting board, but that didn't work.

west side, but the east side seems like it's doing better based on Bassnman's report.

I have all the respect in the world for you duct anglers! Tough stuff! Congratulations on the huge fish. No doubt you earned that one.

So, if those are sculpin, I'm guessing they were on the bottom. What were you using to catch that monster?

I have been using the KPN and magnum force rattle trap primarily and have been struck a few times but no takers. This was caught on the fluke and the the fish took it at about midway up the water column on the fall of course, 1/2oz ocean logic jig head. It was cold, very windy and overcast.

The water flow was heavy which is difficult to fish especially with 1/2 oz, but moving water is always better IMO.
