Urban Trippin' in the IE 1/24/13

Ello' there my fellow FNNrs'. I'm just going to make this report short and sweet. I fished with Carpanglerdude on Thursday for a wet, cold, and fun urban spot hoping day. In total we hit up five spots and fished for 7 hours. A variety of species were caught today including bass, green sunfish, and wild trout. All in all it was a very fun day even with the urban creeks looking like chocolate and footing being rather slippery.

Fish count: Me: 2 trout, 4 Green sunfish, 2 bass
Carpanglerdude: 4 trout?, 3 Green Sunfish? (I don't know, lol I forgot how many fish you caught dude! :ROFL:)

Sounds like a great trip. That urban creek channel with the greens and bass is a trip. Totally ghetto LOL. I've also seen large goldfish and soft shell turtles in that stretch.

Dude that channel is awesome. I've never caught greenies of that size so consistently. Yeah it is a little seedy! :LOL: Goldfish eh? Hmm... I need to go back with bread and a size 18 hook!

That's a really nice looking trout man. I didn't know there were bass, trout and sunfish in any streem around here together so nice find. I see a street light behind you in one of the pics so it must be pretty easily accessed too. Gonna have to start looking for my own little spots like this. Thanks for the report
