Fished a small urban creek a few months back after a rain storm. The bass and sunfish didn't want to bite, but I managed to entice this chunky carp with a micro jig tipped with a trout worm. Took several long minutes, full of drag-running fun, to land this fish on ultralite gear with 2lb fluoro fishing line.
Enjoy! Look closely and you will see many other carp scavenging around nearby, unbothered by the hooked carp.

That's so weird, normally when I hook into a carp in the santa ana, all the others look towards me, then bolt off really quick.
I wonder if my spot still has carp any more, they used to get trapped in the gates, BIG carp, too. A few mullet here and there.
