Trying to plan a fishing trip this April to catch some striped bass and I am looking for some ideas about which lake or river has the best striper fishing. Anyone have any suggestions?

willow beach no doubt , pick up some ac plugs or bbz and you will be set. I hear the bait and wait does good too. Look at the striper reports on acplugs.com

April should be pretty good in a bunch of waters. What area(s) are you looking to travel to? Socal, Midcal, Arizona?

I'm in the Inland Empire and am willing to travel 1000 miles round trip.

Honestly, with the amount of gas you would spend to find good fishing travling 1,000 miles, i would suggest spend some money and take a trip out with TO. He will get you on the best striper fishing and with the knowledge you learn, itll pay for itself. He has very fair pricing and he will get you on the fish!

Yup! AND I'd meet him at Lake San Antonio. Good chance for a monster feesh there. I also hear that Lake Powell is a great Striper fishery.

I have to agree with investing your time and money with TO on a fishing trip and lesson of a lifetime. It was one of the BEST fishing experences I have had with a guide and the Striper information you will learn are PRICELESS.

The above suggestions about Bob, T/O are spot on, not only will you get on the fish, you will be treated to a wealth of knowledge, not only about what to do to catch the stripers, but their behavioral traits, feeding patterns and where to find them in the lakes. I can only speak for myself, but all the times I have been out with Bob have always been great, plus I learned something new every time.........................
