perch..perch Ventura

I had about 3 hours free time so I went to the surf for short session around 11:15am this morning. Water is very clear, no swell, low tide. As I was walking along the beach, I found a good looking trench. As soon as I stepped on the water the school of perch swam away...hahahaha. I started casting to that hole and it was wide open. I think I caught at least 30-40. They were not that big around 8-9 inches but so many of them. I left about 1:30pm. perch fishing will get better by mid Feb. All released. Thanks for reading

Hey Mr. C! Way to go on the perch! That's a great day of catching. I'm sure we're in for a banner year on the pigs...and the hopefully on the flat ones too.:Wink:
