Got me a kit for xmas, now i just gotta catch a fish on them....no more overpriced flies from the sierra shops lol...a few buggers, midges, sj's, and homemade concoctions.

Any color pattern suggestions? Recommened "need to know" flies? Next up is the dry flies...

Try looking here for attractors, nymphs, terrestrials and streamers. http://stevenojai.tripod.com/flybox.htm

Click on the tying instructions under the photos for a "How To".

The black fly (bead head Wooly Bugger) on the top right can be a killer pattern at Perris at times. Tye it smaller with a size 6 bronze hook and wrap the hook shank with some lead wire before winding on the body, and try a regular head without the bead. Try brown, purple and olive green marabou colors too. Nice ties.

Very nice! Those look way better than when I first started tying. Wait till you catch your first fish on them. Major blood flow!! Lol looks like you have caught the sickness...
