Tried Cap Beach for the first time after a recon visit. Nice sandy beaches, shore break, close to parking. Threw LC and drop shot Oil Tube for 3 hours for no love. Are there no fish in this nice little beach?

Never been there, but just about every beach should hold at least some Perch. I suggest hitting it up at different tide levels to see when the best time to fish that beach. Good luck!

Hey Socal_Ultralight, I think it was just a slow day. I was fish'n about 15 miles north of you yesterday(Sunday) from 8:30am-12:30 and caught NOTH"N!!! Saw a few small BSP being caught and saw some fish swim'n around(BSP, Corbina, Leo),and had a few small BSP nip'n at the tail but got skunked! Just keep at it, you'll get'um!
