Can i use this method with out owning a fly fishing rod and what do you recommend cause I went their a few weeks ago and only used power bait, lmk what you think. BTW was that right near the small parking lot?

Yeah you can do it with a spinning rod, just use a small bobber and 2-4 pd line. Tie on a bead head fly, let it hang in the schools faces, when you see your bobber go down set the hook. Here is a pic of the flys that I tied and caught them with

I went there last friday nothing going on throwing a small kastmaster. I will try again some time this week. Have you fished for bass there before? I have heard there are some in there.

Sweet colors on those clou:sers...did u land any on those or just the zebras? Just got a kit, but looks as tho i need some white and chartreuse thread

No just the zebras for trout, the clousers I tied for the salt that same day, the colors were Inspired by popular color swimbaits used in the salt.
