Was a yellowtail ever caught from the surf

I was just wondering, was a yellowtail ever landed while surf fishing? One of the things ive never seen or heard about. Anyhow, how you guys doing? I hope everyone had a great new year. And Dockrat can you pm me please.

wow. i had a huddle at my desk of about 4 fishermen from work. we couldnt believe it.
