First time taking the tube out

Hi Everyone,

I got a tube for christmas and decided to hit Irvine tomorrow. Any advice for a first time tuber and first time fishing Irvine? Thanks in advance!

Target outside the bouy line; mini jigs, night crawlers, pb, deep diving cranks, and bite-on should be in your tackle box. Kick around til you find a school and target it until they move. If you have a fish finder, look for schools and sharp depth changes.. These fish keep moving so dont expect to be on top of them at all times. The bites will come in flurries. If you're not getting bit, switch it up. It's like shore fishing but better haha..
