Got to an empty lake at 7 and figured it was gonna be a great day. Fished in the rain for about 3 hours and it was really slow, a fish here and there. Tried everything including nightcrawlers, but was pretty slow. About 11 the sun came out and the bite went wide open. Trout King worms in white and pink/white working on the splitshot and yellow/white and pink/white working on the dropshot. All doused in Bite-On garlic or roe. No love on the jig today. Kept four that swallowed the worm, biggest about 5 1/2#. East side to clam beds good. Seriously, if you can get out there, GET OUT THERE! There has been little fishing pressure lately and there are alot if fish to be caught.
