Two friend and I went to Balboa pier around 6 at night, finally got to fishing at 7. Water was very rough. I had a hoopnet in the water, but managed at most, 6 softshell crab, all released.
Friend landed the only fish oh the night, a nice 13 inch sculpin, on the squid. Seemed kind of hard to fish anything up that day.
