Who'd have thought that if you combined two good bands - the Eagles and the Pogues - you'd get one really crappy band - Mumford and sons.

And before you say "but, banjos are..." I have three words for you: Dexies Midnight Runners.

LOl, your are spot on C-Dad. All their material sounds the same. Highly overated band in my opinion.

Strange... but he was on Austin City Limits this past weekend with the Steep Canyon Rangers. Also, Google "Men Who Have Banjos and Know How to Use Them."

Yessir, I am familiar with both. Isn't it interesting how much better banjo (and to a certain extent, bluegrass) renditions sound when you let the music do the talking?
