decided to make one last trip for 2012 so made the trip to castaic lake. on the water at 7:30 and the search was on since dont have D.R had to really search out the active fish. first couple hours picking off green carp here and there. we found only one school off active fish off this point so made around 6 passes before the school moved on and we took 8 out of that school let 2 dinks go free and that was it for the day. on the way home driving down the hwy heard a load boom yup trailer just lost a tire oh what fun.

you can always tell when you get a green carp just look back behind the boat and you will see it skipping across the water no fight at all. and yes i always carry santitizer for that reason

as far as green carp is concerned that was a nice bigger unit so yes i took a picture with it. but does not changed the fact he did not put up an ounce of fight just skid all the way in as all green carp do.
