Question: Spooling powerpro

Hello there everyone. I recently purchased a sienna 500FD and some 10lb powerpro green. Initially, I thought that since 10lb powerpro has the same diameter as 2lb mono it would be able to spool all 150yds of powerpro onto my little reel which has a capacity of 2lb/190yds mono. Long story short I was wrong. So, I am wondering if anyone has experienced this same situation and if they could shed some light for me on my situation. Oh and when I attempted to spool the powerpro on the line was tight on the reel. I

I was planning on using the reel x powerpro for some light tackle salt applications and bass fishing.
