3825538254Decided to do some serious hiking into the backwoods of Pyramid and it payed off. Limited out on stripers and got a stray catfish on my lure. Most the fish were holding deep. Didn't consider the part about hauling back my catch, that was one heck of a struggle haha, but totally worth it.

Very nice for shorelining... Especially comparing to the typical action I've seen recently. Kinda curious about the hike destination also..lol

Well worth the hike! Nice haul for sure!
Hiking and fish the backwoods of pyramid is almost like being in a whole other part of the world!
