hey guys I am going to be visiting the big island to stay with some family for the holidays. Ill be staying really close to kawaihae harbor anyone have any tips? So far all I plan on bringing are some lucky craft flash minnows. anything else I should bring? and any tips on type of rod and reel? I did a little research and I don't want to do any cliff fishing since i don't want really want to have to haul my catch up with a rope. Pretty much only want to do some "whipping" meaning tossing out lures but from an area that i don't have to climb up or too far down to fish. thanks in advanced for any intel
