went to the vine for the tournament on sat woke up early 3:30 cuz couldn't sleep anymore woke up the lil brother in love (fishing partner) hit the rode we got to the vine at 4:30 in the water at 6:30 and we started trolling 10 min near to trout island first hit he landed a nice 3 pounder. Around 8:30 we were in the middle of the lake in front of the dam and I got a nice hit on my rod and started a 5 minute fight and I had landed a nice 6.3 pounder which was good enough for second place. Thanks to the guys from bite on it was a good event. Oh and thanks for the t shirts I am a large and I got a xxl but I'll save them who knows if one day I will fit in to them well.
Sunday we went to Corona with (the fishing partner) and the wife. We started trolling it was the first time we trolled there the lines would get stuck alot but we ended up figuring out a route to avoid that. Early in the morning trout was not biting the only ones that were willing to play were the crappie I got a 1.7 and 2 lb crappie they are the biggest I've caught before. The fishing partner and I had already hit the limit but the wife had only caught 2 so before we headed back home we decided to give it one more try. We started trolling when all of a sudden my wife's rod's drag started crying I stopped the boat, but when she tried setting the hook she said the line was stuck again because the line was so tense and would not move at all. I started going in reverse and she said the line started reeling in and started telling us their was something at the other end that's was really heavy she reeled it up right next to the boat when out of nowhere an 8.7 lb trout jumped out. It jumped out of the water like 3 times she got really nervous hoping the line would not break and when we managed to get it in the net she was eager to take a picture. I think I can safely say I got another fishing partner it only took an 8.7 lb trout to change her mind about fishing.
There are the pics of the fish and the lure she got the trout with thanks for reading
