Well I got off base last night around 5 pm and headed up to Torrey Pines State Beach to do a little fishing. Earlier I got hooked up on some fresh squid so I figured what the hell. The water was nice, not too cold for a guy in shorts. I was the only one there so I had all that place to myself. There were no specific fish being targeted just some relaxing fishing for me last night. I ended up getting 6 really nice BSP's and a Shovelnose (Ugly as sin). I got one of the BSP's on the LC but there was a lot of salad so the bait seemed to be the better choice. It was a nice way to end a hectic Monday on base. Ill give it another go today.
