Got to the lake when it open was 12th car in line and want a nice day it is.
Headed to big pond to the point by restrooms, my buddy was using a jig with a bobber and myself DS a power worm wacky rig it got hit on it a few times but not sticking then one stuck and the fight was on it fought good a nice 1.5-2lbs and the skunk is off can't say the same to my buddy he was trying very hard but finally he got one about a pound.
It was slow picking on the trout, we miss a lot even on power bait it's like they would pick it up them spit it out but we ended up with 6 trout not bad of a day for our start of the season.
Saw some guys using a bobber with a jig tip with mealworms and they where getting them nice one too.
