Boat fishing always gives you two options: bait fishing and troll. If you are taking the gf out I would say go boat fishing, just a boat ride itself will be fun. Good luck!

Yeah I don't troll and mostly fish plastics, I just wondered if the fish are where you needed a boat.

I was there on Sat for the turkey tourney ....between me and my family we caught 3 fish and miss 4 and 1 broke off.......i always from the shore and the flats is my family secret spot :Cool: ...powerbait cheese , bite-on roe, and power mouse .... that's what worked for us .
