i had sat off and wanted to see what was up with castaic, spent the first half of the day fighting off the green carp and shallow stripeys that were not biting. so at noon i went back to the dock and got a snack out of the truck and grabbed the downriggers. headed back to where i metered schools over bait ,dropped the gear down to the first depth i wanted to work and the first pass over it ,it was a triple hook up,tossed the stripeys back and started working three different humps with bait and stripers on it. after about a dozen toss backs my mood changed and it was killin time ,all the schoolies were real fat and gave great fights , punched out with a limit for me and some friends,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,T/O,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Nice work Bob, did you save those green carp for carp boy? Were those stripeys still in those schools at the same depth when we were out last time? I want to get out so badly, but with my employees vacations and the holidays.................. crap its gonna be several weeks............... Dave
