Went there last month, skunk city....but it was after a full moon so I'm planning on giving it another go sometime soon.

Water level is way down on the big pond so the reed fortress is super muddy, really only good for punching or froggin.

Yessir! I use a 1 1/2 ounce booyaa jig with a craw trailer on 65 lb braid and my saltwater rod. The heavier rod helps me free the jig easier when i get hung up which is often.....but its pretty effective in those thick reed mats cuz nothin else even sinks lol.
