Although the flu had me down the whole week, I wasn't going to let it shut me out of the fun for what has become an Irvine Lake tradition. The weatherman was kind to the anglers fishing Saturday, no rain for a Team57 event?

Had a great time even though I didn't fish, reports from the guys coming to the scales ranged anywhere from "not so hot today" to "we gottum pretty good"....a good example of the latter by none other than Timster and his fish slayin partner in crime Felisa!

What kind of new tricks on the trout are we going to see this year Timmy!?

Trolly always slays the fish (he just doesn't always know about the side pot) :Secret:

CLASSIC pic complete with Noho giving the guys bunny ears, I think this is my all time favorite 57 shirt...

I just wanted to say thank you to all that made it out and shared some laughs....to the sponsors and generous people who donated to another great raffle, something for everyone in attendance. Special thank to all the Team57 members dedicated to keeping the torch lit....you know who you are.

On an unrelated note while taking in the sights I was startled by a fast moving creature I spotted in the distance. I had enough presence of mind to snap an obscure picture of what I believe to be a resident Sasquatch that has made Irvine Lake it's home....unconfirmed reports from Vine locals speculate it may be Josh, but were unwilling to comment publicly

Thanks for reading, see you this Saturday at the lake.

LOL. It was an excellent day. And while I may be tall enough to qualify as a sasquatch I am no where near as hairy. Just for the record.

Great report and pictures Aaron!

I thought about all of you that day and wished I could have been there with you all. I did get to enjoy Trollys on-the-water reports and it was almost as good as actually being in the boat.:Envious:

It's great to see Team 57 up and running at the Vine again!:Thumbs Up:
