I'm going up there hoping for some big tail walkers and was wondering if anyone has been up there lately so I can know how the fishing has been. If so can you tell me what you were using and any other info thanks.

Call (760) 245-2226 and ask the folks at the gate. Horse shoe lake has been gone for a long time and I do not know if it has been fixed. Pelican Lake is where everyone fishes they plant trout and some times big ones. Give them a call and you will be able to plan your outing. Jess Rance in Apple Valley is another nice place to fish, not far from Mojave Narrows.
