Anaheim Lake - Corona Lake

On Wednesday, November 21st, the day before Thanksgiving, we will close at 2pm, for a huge stocking of fish for the Thanksgiving weekend. This is one of the biggest stockings we have each year. There will be more BIG fish caught this week at our lakes than all the lakes in calif. put together....come get them. This is when we bring down the huge Super Trout at 12 to 20 pounds, maybe even larger, maybe even a new Lake record. We will be closed all day Thanksgiving Day, then come Friday we open at 6am. This day is called Black Friday; Mom goes shopping and Dad and the Kids go fishing. Don’t miss this weekend, if you want to catch a trophy to hang on the wall.

Gone to anaheim lake twice already and both times and caught my limit within two hours while on my float tubing in front of The spillway. EVerything is good and everyone is catching good fish, But It's disappointing seeing people catch and release trout.

i totaly agree with you because there so week that the birds get them...maybe they will start to patrol this...i will be there friday very early and hope to catch a big one

Catch and release of trout is highly practiced amongst fly fisherman. It is certainly acceptable as long as the fish are handled properly. A net with the fish in the water at all times and minimal handling assures safe releases (applicable to lip hooked fish). However, catch and release with bait or improper handling, such as holding the fish with a rag is not acceptable.
