Went back to Anaheim lake on Sunday with three of my little nephews after having so much success last week. Got to the lake ten minutes early and waited till the gates open. Got to our spot and set up our rods and one of my nephew got hooked up on his first trout ever. He ended landing a 1.5 lb Sierra bow. We all thought is was gonna be another wide open bite like last week but was disappointed cause it slowed down after that. We did manage to land 8 bows and all three of my nephews caught one each including a first ever. So it was a success in my books even though we didn't get into a wide open bite. We used the same set up as last week. Power mice tail in a variety of colors. Green and orange was the best this week. Thanks for reading. Keep them rod tips up and lines tight.
