West Shore 11/9

got there at 4:30am first in line. at about 5:30 there was about 20 cars in line. right when we got in we walked to the west shore.. roads were closed. started fishing and caught my first pretty quick. fished till about 12:30 and had 3 total. i fished a carolina rig with about a 3 ft leader and chartreuse powerbait. only caught 3 and i think it might be because i was fishing with 6lb test and 4lb leader.. maybe i should have gone with 2lb test.. i was expecting more but it was a fun day and better than getting the skunk! heres my biggest fish of the day. it weighed in at 3lbs exact.. not very big compared to some peoples PR's but its my PR and im definitely proud of it :) haha tight lines everyone! *JBfish*

congrats on your PR, you deff want to go with 2 or 3lb line, you will break some off , but you will get more hitts.

Very stellar performance. I concur with Bring IT, use lighter line for more strikes. Glad you got in on some of the action.

Thanks for the report. One should never "expect more" when fishing. Just look at my last report. Glad to hear you had fun out there. Definitely use 2 lb test but make sure you have a good drag.
