Birthday weekend and i want to fish. Irvine or Anaheim? Well i can camp with the family and fish all night so Anaheim it is. I was expecting a big turn out but it was wide open.Wei set up the gear before camp and i still have the skunk. As it starts to get dark the wife brings in a blue cat.
We grill some ribs and make Marissa some smores. They call it a night @ about 9:30 by this time i have landed about 5 hand sized cats and even a small bass those small fish kept stealing my bait by the end of the night i must have got about 10. Its 11:51 and im getting sleepy when i get hit by a nice channel cat. I rebait and call it a night. I wake up right at sun up and start to set up for trout when i notice a pole going bendo i bring in a blue.
Trout action was slow but Marissa managed to bring in a nice 3 lb. hook jaw.
