I travel to the orient regularly. Saw a beautiful fly reel that I picked up on an impulse because it just felt so good in hand and had a 2 X multiplier effect, and yet weighed only 2.3 oz. Just beautiful.
The problem of course is that I'm not a fly fisherman of any sort. I got it simply to satisfy my engineering curiosity. I was in the shop 30 minutes before having to leave for the airport and just had to pick it up. Now that I have taken it apart and put back together, I'm done with figuring out how something can feel this precise, have 2X multiplier effect and yet weigh only 2.3 oz. So here it is FS. I believe this is a forged reel rather than cast.
New.
$50. Firm. I do not believe you can find anything like this in the USA.
