View Full Version : Hesperia Lake (Bunk Day)

Got to lake at 4 am. First ones there. Fished the finger til 1:30 only couple of bites. Threw jigs, plastic worms, kastmaster and every color of power bait at them for the big skunk. Only saw about 5 total trout caught all day.

thanx for the report sorry about the skunk lol. i posted a question asking about how the fishing was at the lake the other day.i guess the its best not to go fishing there
Hesperia always starts slow, between water clarity and water temp and shallow water = not good conditions. Don't drink the kool aid that appears in a certain guys reports in the newspaper or online, in fact his reports of good fishing last couple weeks have been backtracked on with the new "report" out this week. Don't know where that info comes from but the manager of the lake even indicated slow fishing up till a recent cool off.
Give it a week or 2 more (cold weather coming in) and everything should pick up.

Exactly what Seal wrote...early Dec. should really get going.

Hesperia is good now. Finally, with Tue stock it will be good till the holiday weekend where it will see alot of pressure.....
