11/02/12 late afternoon above Mettler

Hit the Aqueduct this afternoon from 3:30 - 5:30 above Mettler,at the gates across from Ikea. The gates were wide open and the water level looks like it had dropped about a foot. Every cast came back with moss, which sucked, but I was able to hook up three stripers on KPNs. All three were caught by bouncing the KPN off the far side of the Aquaduct. I'd like to say that was my strategy for inciting Mr. Stripey to bite, but that was purely accidental. All three fish hammered the KPN almost instantly after bouncing into the water. They were 16-17 inches but a blast to catch.

good to hear from you dave,,,Great job on the stripers,,,,,,,,When the flows are low the floating moss is alot more fishable,,,,,,,it,l all be gone soon,,,,,,,
