I've read the the boat rental is closed at Lake gregory. Does that mean you can't launch float tubes there anymore this year?
How about Jenks Lake?

You can walk-in to Jenks. Only the parking lot is closed. Sometimes they leave the "Closed for the Season" sign up, but that is incorrect. The vendor puts up that sign. Per the Forest Service and DFG, the lake is open, but you just have to hike in...like about 15 people did last weekend. Fishing was pretty decent too!
Later in the winter when/if it ices over you must stay off the lake ice. San Berdoo Co. ordinance prohibits doing anything on lake ice-including fishing.
