Went fishing at DVL and the fishing is getting a little better. The shad is still plentiful and the bass are feeding on them like crazy. I threw the top water (Swimbait) and had a few strikes and a few followers. After about a hour and a half I settled down and tried to fgure out if I could catch a couple on the C-rig and T-rig. I caught a few between 30-40 feet. The fish are starting to stack up and when you find one generally you can pick off a few more once you energize the school.
I'm really looking forward to the fall/winter bite because that's when all the big girls will be fattening themselves up in preparation for the next spawn.
