Lincoln Park Lake?

Anyone fish Lincoln Park Lake? My daughter wants to go there and fish for bluegill, crappie, and LMB. We drive by this lake once a week and she wants to dip her line. Does anyone know if Lincoln Park Lake near downtown LA has these fish?

Thanks for any info, tips, advice...I would like her to catch one. Last fish she caught was 3 months ago up in the Sequoias.

DFG plants trout into the lake during season. I've seen guys catch bass during the Spring spawn. So there are some in there. I haven't seen any bluegills/crappie. Remember that Lincoln is a small lake and is in a area where a lot of anglers do not practice catch and release. I believe that keeps the fish population in the lake low.

Thanks for the info. Sucks that catch and release isn't practiced. That helps me with my decision making. I will take her elsewhere unless she really wants to try it.
