Water levels high, the dam is not the hot spot mostly micros, find the bait you will find the fish. Depending on the day topwater can be very good even in the afternoon but it flunctuates day to day, also stripers are moving around with the bait. I think we are in a transition period, the bigger stripers will start to show when water temps cool just a bit more, oh and when the feeding (trout plants) starts.

Saw a fellow with one nice channel catfish caught last weekend. He was caught it while overnight camping I believe.

Stripers are active. I caught my PB striper today. Nothing huge but much more fun than the little micros! Will post pics and video soon.

i usually fish the dam for cats but they aren't always cooperative, plus you have to fight your way through micros. might fish it tomorrow evening.

Can the boils be accessed by kayak launched around the marina area? Thinking about wetting the kayak out there to cast some topwater.

Gonna give silverwood a shot tonight. Bite always seems to be better there in little to no moon. Twin cove has been pretty decent as of late.

This is not a chase the boils bite, blind cast early and late with topwater and you should be rewarded from shore or yak.

Picked up 3 micros and a 3 lb'er last night, all stripers on topwater. Fished it from 6pm to 9pm then couldn't take the wind anymore, it was brutal. Water level is highest it's been in a few months.

They are in many places, locations not as important as time of day and the correct day.

Thanks for all the tips! Went up today and got a 19" striper and 2-5lb catfish. The wind was brutal, strong and cold. But at least we beat the skunk.
